The Opportunity

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
  • Develop and validate analytical methods (primarily HPLC-based impurity methods) in accordance with current regulatory and scientific requirements.
  • Lead analytical method transfers, including preparation of transfer protocols, execution, and reporting.
  • Perform analytical assessments of existing products and projects, identifying gaps or weaknesses in current analytical methods.
  • Review analytical documentation and evaluate which methods require improvement, additional validation, redevelopment, or alignment with current requirements.
  • Prepare remediation plans, including estimation of timelines, workload, and required resources to address analytical gaps.
  • Provide analytical support for troubleshooting of currently commercialized or in-development products.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (PD, QC, QA) to ensure robust and compliant analytical practices.

  • B.A., B.S., in life sciences, engineering, pharmaceutics, chemistry, or similar fields
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in Chromatographic techniques (such as HPLC, GC) and experience in development/validation of methods
  • ability to design, develop and implement effective Chromatographic methods
  • understanding of the development, validation, verification and transfer of analytical methods, cGMP regulations, FDA and EMA regulations, and recent trends in product lifecycle concepts
  • ability to recommend competent scientific judgments
  • strong verbal and written communication in English
