The Opportunity

The Change Delivery and Technical Adoption Manager is critical to ensuring that Digital & Tech can effectively deliver on the Dechra 2030 strategy, ensuring that change is effectively delivered enabling the achievement of an optimised state, ready to leverage new digital capabilities. The role will be responsible for developing the change delivery capability within Digital & Tech, co-creating the engagement approach with Global Corporate Comms. Establishing the standard approach for delivering technical change and driving large scale adoption across Dechra. The role will be responsible for developing change assets that enable consistent delivery of change and adoption for all Digital and Tech programmes and projects. The role will also develop communication and engagement strategies for internal D&T employees, including integration of partner resources into the wider Dechra D&T op model. Additionally, this role is responsible for day-to-day leadership of the Technical Training lead and oversight of D&T training, engagement and other content creation.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Develop and co-create the strategy for D&T change and adoption, including reusable artefacts to drive scalability and consistency.
  • Lead end-to-end change and adoption delivery associated with critical D&T programmes and projects, ensuring consistent approach to the strategy.
  • Engagement with Dechra wide programmes, where they impact D&T, to ensure effective change and adoption
  • Oversight and development of D&T training assets, including internal D&T training as well as Dechra-wide training
  • Establishment of D&T culture assets, aligned with Dechra culture, to establish compliance and secure by design cultural approaches
  • Support D&T LT in roll-out of new assets, projects and deliverables
  • Support Global Head of Digital Enablement and Technical Delivery in developing D&T strategy, objectives and artefacts supporting D&T wide implementation of these, as well as Town Hall materials
  • Develop Cyber awareness education and campaigns, roll these out alongside the CISO
  • Assist in development of exec reporting requirements

  • Effective stakeholder, leadership, organisational, and time management skills
  • High level of PC and desktop software literacy with Microsoft products
  • Experience in a range of delivery technology, regulations and how to drive effective adoption of these
  • Experience of working in a D&T change environment capacity and working on large scale IT initiatives
  • Broad business understanding and experience of working in a global IT environment
  • Wide ranging Tech appreciation and knowledge of technology trends
  • Experience of cross-cultural working and engagement of diverse team

Desirable
  • Significant experience in a pharma or other compliance working environment
  • Experience of developing and delivery of large scale technology implementations
  • Experience of developing technology compliance and security adoption assets as well as driving cultural change to achieve
  • Experience of project managing teams of tech delivery (functional or technical) of +20 people for a full lifecycle implementation.
  • Experience of using and (ideally) developing methods and process to ensure structured delivery of IT project in a regulated (ideally GxP/CSV) environment, i.e. using stage gates, quality controls, code reviews, planning and delivering testing

  • Occasional global travel may be required with this role.
  • This role is based in Northwich / hybrid
