The Opportunity

The Group HR Reporting Lead, working with the Group HR Systems Manager, is responsible fot the efficient and effective management, maintenance, and enhancement of Dechra's Global HR Reporting.

This Role ensures that the global HR data is optimised to support Dechra's data strategy, in collecting, analysing and interpreting HR data, to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision making within Dechra.



Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
  • Collect, clean and organise HR data across numerous Group HR systems, including Oracle Fusion, ADP Celergo and any other relevant platforms.
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and translate findings into actionable insights for HR and other business areas.
  • Ensure reporting and analytics capabilities meet business and compliance needs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to effectively communicate HR metrics and KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports on workforce metrics such as headcount, turnover rates, absenteeism, and diversity.
  • Prepare compensation-related reports, including annual salary reviews and bonus calculations.
  • Analyse performance management data to evaluate trends in employee productivity, goals, and outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for improving data collation and storing, working in partnership with the wider HR and operational teams, automating reports where possible.
  • Support global HR teams and wider operational businesses in reporting, dashboard creation and the interpretation of data within HRIS.
  • Ensure proper utilisation of HR technology tools for improving HR efficiency and data analysis, leverage AI and automation wherever possible.
  • Support the Group HR Systems Manager in administrating and creating dashboards and reports, and in conducting data analysis, to support HR decision-making and strategic planning, maintaining a continuous improvement culture relating to Dechra's Business Information (BI) strategy, spanning multiple Group HR Systems.
  • Maintain reports across multiple Group HR Systems.
  • Assist the Group HR Systems Manager with global HR data related project implementations and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist Group HR Systems Manager with HR training need analysis.
  • Support Group HR Systems Manager in testing the functionality within reports and dashboards, where necessary, make improvements to reports to improve accuracy or usability; where possible, take advantage of new functionality to improve management information service e.g. scheduling and bursting reports to specific recipients.
  • Act at the subject matter expert on HR analytics, providing guidance and training to global HR teams as needed. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant privacy regulations and internal policies.
  • Keep up to date with data analysis trends.
  • Maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive HR information.
  • Responsible for own personal health and safety.

  • In-depth understanding of HR processes like payroll, benefits, talent management, and recruitment
  • Familiarity with HR metrics, KPIs, and workforce analytics
  • Solid understanding of MS Office
  • Be a self-starter with resilience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders internal and external to Dechra
  • Ability to ensure remote teams remain on track to achieving tight deadlines and key milestones
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in HRIS and data management tools
  • Experience in HR reporting and analytics, with significant time spent using Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Proficient in Oracle Fusion HCM, specifically OTBI, BI Publisher, and other Oracle reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of SQL for advanced reporting and data manipulation
  • Experience of assisting with reporting requirements and needs
  • Experience of creating HR data dashboards and reports
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
