Job Introduction

Manufacturing Technician - £25,852 - Early shift 5.30am - 2.00pm Mon - Fri (9 day fortnight). Yes, you get every other Friday off!

Based at our Skipton, North Yorkshire manufacturing site. Please only apply if you live within a commuting distance of Skipton.

Our Recruitment Process

The Role

To assist in achieving the production planned, with tasks including: -

• Manufacturing product to a high standard ensuring the quality of those products is in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure compliance with SOPs
• To ensure the efficient and safe use of plant and equipment.
• To keep strictly to manufacturing methods as laid down in the documentation and raise any issues or errors with the Manufacturing Supervisors or Manager
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and personal hygiene within the department.
• To identify any issues and attempt to resolve these and escalating if it cannot be resolved.
• To support Operational Excellence incentives to drive and improve efficiency.

You

• Hard working, reliable and punctual.
• Local to our Skipton site
• A willingness to learn and desire to work in a busy team environment
• Previous manufacturing experience could be beneficial
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to work in a light physical role
