The Opportunity Responsible for quality-related tasks and in collaboration with the organization ensure that receive and distribution of medicinal products are carried out in accordance with applicable rules and legislation.Build and maintain the quality management system for products distributed by Dechra Veterinary Products A/S. Act as Team Leader for selected employees in the Quality Department (anchored in the organization chart for Quality).
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope, and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
• Ensure implementation and maintenance of SOPs and guidelines
• Ensure that the training program is maintained and implemented
• Participation in and coordination of product recalls
• Ensure valid approvals from suppliers and customers
• Approve activities contracted that affect GDP principles
• Disposition of rejected, returned, recalled or falsified products
• Handling and administrative release of imported medicines, including Brexit goods
• Compliance with regulations on products under national legislation
• Prepare, process and approve Change Control, Deviations and CAPAs (Including signing as Quality Responsible (QR) during absence or in situations where the QR is the creator)
• Project work where larger projects are to be implemented
• Participate in internal and external inspections
• Plan and carry out self-inspections (Internal Auditor)
• Create and process Product Defect Supply
• Handle and process complaints in quality (including Product defects and Logistics complaints)
• Ensure daily coordination and prioritization for employees in your team
• Schedule and execute 1:1 meetings with employees in your team

We're particularly excited to hear from those who have/are:
- Fluent in English - both written and spoken
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry with management experience
- Extensive experience in GMP / GDP and compliance with demonstrated knowledge and experience of auditing/inspection techniques, including internal process/system and documentation audits, as well as experience of related quality assurance principles applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Competency in management and tracking of Quality Metrics- CCs, CAPAs, Deviations, Complaints, PQRs, audits and audit reports
- Previous people leadership experience preferred
- Previous experience working with MHRA, FDA and participating in regulatory agency inspections
- Previous experience of project management, time management and people management.

- Demonstrates a "can do" approach
- Must have Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) across a wide range of disciplines, especially the ability to communicate diplomatically and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrates time management skills
- Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
- Ability to lead , motivate, coach, and teach others
