The Opportunity The purpose of the role is to collect, analyse and harmonize procurement master data to unlock insights and support informed decision-making. The target is to ensure that our data is secure, complete, accurate, relevant, and reliable. The role considers stakeholder management of the following departments: QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing Science and Technology.
Role Responsibility So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and identify opportunities for data collection and analysis.
• Develop and implement data collection processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and integrity.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure, including databases, data pipelines, and storage systems.
• Analyse existing master data for the direct procurement products, verify compliance and similarities, ensure harmonization of similar items.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform strategic decision-making.
• Identify the sources of information, find and verify specifications for all the materials procured by Dechra from internal and external stakeholders.
• Compare existing Purchasing specifications with the dossier requirements and regulatory aspects, implement gap analysis.
• Cover the gaps with raised change controls and ensure compliance.

• Chemistry, Science, Pharmacy Degree, or equivalent experience.
Additional Information:
- Very occasional global travel may be required with this role.
- This role is based in Northwich / hybrid
