About the Role
As a Commercial & Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales performance. You will design, develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve our business goals and sales targets. You will manage consolidated groups and key buying groups with a more central approach, ensuring strong relationships, effective agreements and a clear buying strategy. You will also collaborate closely with the National Sales Manager to increase compliance rates and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What You Will Do
• Manage key buying groups, consolidated groups and influential customers by building strong relationships, negotiating agreements and managing central and local contracts.
• Follow up on contracts and agreements with consolidated customers, ensuring compliance in cooperation with the National Sales team.
• Work with the business analyst to perform customer analyses and ensure follow-up is focused on exceeding customer expectations.
• Develop strategies with the National Sales Manager to increase compliance rates at consolidated customers.
• Set up customer group plans to understand and respond to customer needs effectively.
• Isolate customer groups and develop tailored strategies to address their specific needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration by putting together a dedicated team around the customer.
• Analyse sales data to monitor progress towards targets and adapt sales activities as needed.
• Control budgets and spending to efficiently achieve the business plan.
• Stay up to date with market trends and customer needs to support the overall strategic plan.
• Use our customer relationship management (CRM) system to maintain and grow relationships with key clients.
• Monitor key performance indicators and work closely with customers to deliver excellent solutions and continuous improvements.

Skills and Experience
• Higher professional education (Bachelor level or equivalent).
• Strong commercial mindset and business acumen.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the animal health or related industry.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
