The Opportunity

Overall responsibility for the Skipton site supply chain, including control of planning, materials replenishment and customer services. Key Accountability to deliver the plan and develop departmental capabilities to ensure it meets all the needs of the business at an optimum cost, delivered on time and to the required quality standard.

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
  • Ensure delivery of a single site production plan balanced to match capability whilst ensuring supply of all customer needs. Develop and implement strategies to ensure that supply chain activities fully support the Supply Chain plan.
  • Create a smooth and achievable plan which fulfills customer requirements
  • Manage rough cut capacity planning (RCCP) and future demand requirement for site, to facilitate budgeting and longer term CAPEX plans
  • Lead and report on the end to end site planning process to ensure supply is on track and all customer needs are met.
  • Balanced allocation of resources to maximise efficient provision of supply services to the commercial teams and end customers.
  • Accountable for the overall operations of the S&OP process to ensure it fully supports the strategies and delivers customer expectations.
  • Accountable for communication of targets, strategies and operational changes to all the site functions to ensure adherence to a single site plan.
  • Ensure warehouse operations are compliant and efficient, delivering product safely within timeframes
  • Utilise MRP system to ensure adherence to plan
  • Overall ownership of artwork change and artwork NPI process for site, ensuring all artwork is available to meet requirements
  • Ensure all activities are carried out to appropriate regulatory standards
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement to maximise overall efficiency whilst reducing waste
  • Ensuring all members of their team are adequately trained and aware of their responsibilities in their roles and in relation to health and safety
  • Coach, support and develop all members of the team to realise potential. Follow the PDR, talent management and training processes with all team members.

• Ideally a degree/professional qualifications in Supply Chain related topic or equivalent relevant experience.
