Dispensary Supervisor

Based at our Skipton, North Yorkshire manufacturing site. Please only apply if you live within a commuting distance of Skipton.

36-hour week - Mon - Fri 8.00am - 4.30pm with every other Friday off.

The Role

To lead and manage the dispensary operation at the Skipton site.

Reporting to the Value Stream Lead within the manufacturing function, the Dispensary Supervisor is a key role within the site Management team.

• Manage the dispensary operation.
• Lead daily team briefings.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure the efficient flow of goods through the site.
• Monitor flow of goods and maintain first in first out method for raw materials and packing components.
• Maintain accurate inventory by ensuring regular stock checks are carried out in line with schedule.
• Maintain GMP standards and Health & Safety at all times.
• Ensure all activities are carried out according to GMP/GDP guidelines and the appropriate quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure all staff trained to required standard and training requirements reviewed on a regular basis.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse and dispensary, planning and implementing new layouts and business processes as required, according to the site requirements.
• Coach and monitor the dispensary team to continuously improve performance.

You

Ideally you will have experience in a similar Dispensary Supervisor type role. Below are the essential requirements: -

• People leadership and management.
• Safety management.
• Managing processes.
• Inventory Control
• Planning and organising.
• Problem solving.
• Experience working in a GMP environment.
• Able to communicate at all levels.

Desirables would be forklift truck license, experience using an Oracle system and knowledge of warehouse operations.
