The Opportunity To continue the development of an effective and efficient, customer driven supply chain across Dechra to support our growth agenda. To be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring supply planning to maximize efficiency and productivity. Responsible for the successful operation of the IBP(Integrated business planning) process and major supply planning related projects e.g, successful implementation and development of the company planning / ERP Planning module. To act as a focal point for supply planning relationships with country organisations, internal manufacturing sites, external suppliers, warehousing (both internal and 3PL) and distribution partners.
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
• Management of global 3rd Party suppliers of finished products - both where Dechra owns the Marketing Authorisation and for in-licencing arrangements.
• Responsibilities include supporting supply contract adherence, contract negotiations, carrying out supplier audits (in conjunction with the quality team) and putting in place measurement systems to ensure effective and efficient supply relationships.
• Track day to day stock levels to pre-empt and manage potential and actual issues.
• Liaise with Commercial and Manufacturing on demand and availability issues.
• Devise and manage inventory strategies relating to existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
• As part of the Supply chain team, responsible for executing Dechra's supply chain strategy through in-depth knowledge of existing supply chain requirements (established and new products) linked to delivery capabilities both internally and through external suppliers.
• Further develop the existing IBP process to fully integrate operations and new business entities and supply detail, this should also include the product discontinuation process.
• Support Execution and reporting on key supply chain KPI's.
• Line Management Responsibility for the enterprise & supply planners for CMO's & internal sites
• Provide mentorship and encourage best practices to planning supply teams
• As applicable facilitate processing of customs documentation, inbound shipments of API and finished goods to CMO's and our internal & 3PL warehouse operations.
• Collaborative approach, ability to build relationships across multi sites and multi culturally, empowers and develops people, energetic and tenacious. Ability to balance strategic/big picture with a hands on, practical approach to getting the job done.
• Strong commercial understanding and demonstrable experience of improving customer service whilst managing costs and improving efficiency is essential.

- Minimum 5+ years Supply Chain Ops (production planning, demand planning/forecasting, inventory management, 3PL management, procurement)
- ERP systems knowledge
- Multi-country Supply Chain experience
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence various levels in a matrix structure.
- S&OP/IBP implementation and improvement.
- Strong leadership and ability to communicate.
- Development of a team and its performance.
- Customer/Supplier focus and ability to demonstrate proactive relationship building.
- Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Occasional global travel will be required.
