QA AdministratorJob Introduction Quality Assurance Administrator, Skipton36 hrs, Mon-Fri, 0800-1630
9-day fortnight (every second Friday off)
A role where organisation meets purpose - and every detail matters. If you enjoy keeping things running smoothly, love a well‑organised system and take pride in getting the details right, you might find this role feels like home. We're looking for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our QA team - someone who enjoys being the steady pair of hands behind the scenes, supporting both our operational and compliance teams and helping us maintain the high standards we're known for.
What the role looks likeIn this role, you'll become an important part of the daily rhythm of the Quality department. Much of your time will be spent supporting the flow of documentation that keeps our production and packing teams moving. You'll be issuing and controlling batch records, keeping an eye on the daily production plan, and making sure any documents under change control are flagged before they cause delays. You'll work closely with planning and production teams, joining weekly meetings to keep everyone updated on paperwork that's ready to go - and anything that isn't.
You'll also take care of scanning, distributing and archiving quality documentation, keeping our filing systems tidy, accurate and up to date. From logbooks to training files to master documents, you'll help ensure everything is stored correctly and easy to retrieve when needed. There will be moments where you'll prepare or review SOPs related to your area, and times when you'll dig into data, pulling together reports or simple graphs using Microsoft Office.
Throughout all of this, you'll bring a cGMP mindset to your work - thinking carefully, working methodically and always keeping quality at the heart of what you do. You'll also have the chance to get involved in continuous improvement activities, challenging old ways of working and helping us find better, smarter, more efficient approaches. And because priorities can shift quickly, you'll be trusted to manage your own workload, escalate issues when needed and keep things moving in the right direction.
What you'll bring with youWe're looking for someone who enjoys being organised and takes pride in accuracy. You'll be comfortable working with documents, reading and understanding written information quickly, and keeping track of multiple tasks at once. Good communication skills will help you build strong relationships with colleagues across the site, and you'll be confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in an office environment will give you a great head start, and if you've worked with document systems or indexing before, that's even better. Knowledge of cGMP or experience in a manufacturing environment would be a real advantage, though it's not essential - what matters most is your attitude, your attention to detail and your willingness to learn.
