The Opportunity

The Regional Logistics Manager, Regional Logistics leads the strategy, planning and execution of activities associated with the 3PL warehousing and distribution of finished products and raw materials across the supply and customer base within the region.

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

The Regional Logistics Manager will be pivotal in developing and implementing a regional logistics strategy aligned to Dechra's strategics objectives
• Overseeing the strategic planning and execution of logistics operations within the region

• Managing and optimizing transportation, distribution, and warehouse systems

• Developing and implementing processes to ensure efficient supply chain management

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve logistics performance and cost-effectiveness

• Identifying and evaluating potential logistics partners

• The coordination and control of customs and trade compliance

• Management of in-house (when applicable) and 3PL finished goods warehouse operations

• Defining and monitoring KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance

• Leading and mentoring the regional logistics team, fostering and culture of excellence and accountability

• Staying abreast of industry trend and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practice in logistics operation.

• Driving sustainability initiatives withing the logistics function to reduce environmental impact

• Driving strategic supplier relationships forward across key 3rd Party Logistics Providers

• Developing a supply base to build the capacity and capability to deliver the business' requirements.

• Continually assessing the warehousing and logistics process and services across the region and identify, produce business cases and present opportunities in maximize valve and effectiveness.

• Creating visibility of the regional logistics expense associated with each order.

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures

• Proven leadership skills in logistics
• Successfully manage complex transformations, integrations and change management
• Able to operate effectively in a multi-cultural and matrix environment
• Flexibility, adaptability and with the ability to deliver in a timely manner
• High degree of collaborative working and team working capability
• Pharmaceutical operational experience is desirableness

• Third party logistics distribution and warehousing global landscape knowledge including but not limited to operators

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
