The Opportunity The Supply & Demand Planner LATAM role exists to ensure accurate demand forecasting, balanced supply planning, and reliable product availability across the Latin America region. The position integrates commercial demand, supply capabilities, and inventory strategies to support customer service, regulatory compliance, and cost-efficient operations, while aligning regional execution with Dechra's global planning processes and business objectives .
What will you do?You will lead regional demand planning, optimise supply plans, manage inventory targets, and support S&OP/IBP cycles while ensuring regulatory compliance in the animal health industry.
We have a broad and varied mission, and for this role the main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and coordinate regional demand planning processes, consolidating inputs from Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams across LATAM countries.
- Develop ,maintain, and optimise supply plans in alignment with demand forecasts, manufacturing capacity, and inventory policies.
- Manage inventory targets across the region, balancing service levels, shelf life, obsolescence risk, and working capital.
- Support and actively contribute to S&OP / IBP cycles, ensuring data accuracy, scenario analysis, and alignment between demand and supply.
- Identify risks and constraints related to supply, demand volatility, and regulatory requirements , proposing mitigation actions.
- Monitor regional supply chain KPIs, analysing performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure planning processes comply with corporate standards, quality requirements, and regulatory expectations in the animal health industry.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in demand and supply planning, inventory management, and data analysis. You will need to demonstrate a strong focus on accountability and problem solving through effective collaboration and partnerships.
You will also need a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management , Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
You must also be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Intermediary Spanish (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management processes.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning/analytics tools (Power BI)
- Solid understanding of S&OP / IBP concepts and processes.
