A little about us

Dechra are a growing, global specialist within the world of veterinary pharmaceuticals. Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, marketing and sales of high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide. It's a great time to join our modern Skipton facility and further investment for the Skipton site means that we're in an exciting period of positive change for the business.

Here at Dechra, our values are embedded within our culture and thrive within our family of almost 2000 colleagues globally. From manufacturing to marketing, (D)edication, (E)njoyment, (C)ourage, (H)onesty, (R)elationships and (A)mbition are at the heart of our everyday operations and the way we do business.

Your Next AdventureThe QA Compliance Associate works within the Quality Assurance group to ensure site wide compliance. You'll build key relationships with other site functions, providing cGMP support to ensure compliance to standards and the delivery of site quality metrics.

So, what will you be doing?
You'll be the person to ensure everything we do is compliant, checking things have been done to the correct standard across site. Day to day you'll look at change controls and documenting what the change is. This could be new artwork for example on the packaging components like cartons or leaflets, and packing records etc. Your team facilitates overseeing the change and making sure it can go ahead.

You'll use various systems and processes to complete your day to day actions and sense checking everything has been logged correctly on our Oracle system.

What makes you awesome
If you've worked within Pharmaceuticals before or other heavily regulated industries then great! Equally we'll still love to hear from you if you're looking to gain more experience in this area. You'll need to be well organised, mange a large work loads, and effectively prioritise a range of tasks and actions within our secure cloud-based enterprise content management platform, Veeva.

Experience with change control actions will stand you in good stead but you don't need to be subject matter expert in this area, more of an understanding the 'why' behind the process. You'll be assigned a department to support with Capas and Deviations via Veeva.

You won't always be able to get hold of the right people or find the answers you need right away. Manufacturing sites are very busy and face multiple challenges on a daily basis. Because of this you'll need to adopt a proactive approach to the working day and build relationships quickly across cross functional teams. You'll actively contribute towards PQR Product Quality Reviews with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Quality Control involved, managing the PQR system and your actions as well.

Why you'll love it here
We provide veterinary professionals with the tools to support the welfare of animals worldwide. A true career with real purpose, that's something you can proudly shout about.

We also care deeply about you, you'll have full access to our Employee Assistance programme (EAP) which ensures you have confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support 24/7 365. This ensures that you are well equipped to deal with life's many challenges. In addition to this we also offer:
  • Healthcare Cash plan (cover the cost of dental, prescriptions, therapies)
