The Opportunity The Inventory and DRP Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of inventory strategies and distribution requirements across the supply chain network. This role ensures product availability, minimizes excess inventory, and optimizes logistics efficiency by aligning supply with demand forecasts and distribution capabilities.
Role Responsibility So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
• Inventory Planning & Optimization.
• Develop and manage inventory strategies to meet service level targets while minimizing carrying costs.
• Monitor Raw Material and Finished Goods inventory levels across all manufacturing sites distribution centers and recommend adjustments.
• Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to determine optimal stock levels.
• Lead the DRP process to ensure timely replenishment of inventory across the network.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to align supply plans with distribution needs.
• Use planning tools and ERP systems to generate and manage DRP schedules.
• Work closely with demand planners, supply planners, and logistics teams to ensure end-to-end supply chain alignment.
• Partner with sales and operations to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal demand spikes.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and forecast accuracy.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain and improve planning systems and tools (e.g.Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory and distribution planning processes.

• Computer literate.
• Excellent planning and organising skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, DRP, or supply chain planning.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and planning systems. (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle, JDA, Kinaxis).
• Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL a plus).
• International Supply Chain experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence various levels in a matrix structure.
• Strong leadership and ability to communicate.
• Development of a team and its performance.
• Customer/supplier focus and ability to demonstrate proactive relationship building.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.

- Occasional global travel may be required with this role.
- This role is based in Northwich / hybrid
